At Bracco, we host educational events such as lectures, workshops, roundtables, and expert panels. These events are tailored to accommodate and build upon local needs and interests.– with a combination of international and local faculties.

 

Bracco supports educational programs of prestigious scientific societies. This includes the Visiting Scholarship, the Foundation online courses, and the AIMS Mexico – all organized by ESOR – as well as the Euroson Schools, organized by EFSUMB. Bracco also actively supports ESOI and EuSoMII initiatives.

The "Bracco Fellowships"

To mark Bracco's 95th anniversary – and as part of our long-lasting commitment to supporting the diagnostic imaging community – we have launched a special program in partnership with ESOR. With the Bracco Fellowships initiative, Bracco provides 95 grants to support the training of young radiologists around the world.

“When Professor Nick Gourtsoyiannis founded ESOR sixteen years ago, Bracco immediately responded to support the education of radiologists in Europe. Since then and every year, Bracco is by our side to contribute to better education of radiologists in Europe and beyond and to the outreach of European radiology. ESOR (European School of Radiology)

The European School of Radiology is an institution, fulfilling the mission of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) in the field of education. One of its main goals is to assist in harmonizing radiological education in Europe. With its wide range of activities, ESOR aims to raise standards in scientific radiology, extend and coordinate teaching resources worldwide, and help young radiologists achieve the knowledge and skills to fulfill tomorrow's requirements.

ESOI (European Society of Oncologic Imaging)

The main goal of ESOI is to raise the scientific level and professional knowledge within the field of oncologic imaging and has thereby two important missions. First, the society strives globally to provide high-quality education in cancer imaging and research, not only in countries with but also in those without access to high-quality oncological education. Second, ESOI aims to become an oncologic imaging society that will attract not only radiologists but everyone working in the field of oncology. In education, Bracco is the official partner of ESOI and supported 12 webinars in 2021.

EuSoMII (European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics)

The European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics (EuSoMII) is a non-profit healthcare organization that aims to connect radiologists, radiology residents, radiographers, data scientists, and informatics experts. EuSoMII provides its members and the radiological community with up-to-date information on the latest innovations and achievements in medical imaging informatics and AI by supporting education, research, and events related to top-tier software in radiology. EuSoMII is an institutional member of the European Society of Radiology (ESR). Bracco is a Corporate Member of EuSoMII since 2019.

European Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology
EFSUMB (European Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology)

EFSUMB's objective is to promote the science as well as the research and development of ultrasound. The federation publishes results and guidelines and then proposes standards and advice concerning criteria for optimum equipment, techniques, and clinical applications.
