Bracco's new cutting-edge
manufacturing facility
This event marks not just the inauguration of a facility, but the beginning of a new chapter in Bracco's journey.
At the heart of this achievement is Bracco's pioneering microbubble technology. In fact, this major investment allows Bracco to increase production of its innovative ultrasound contrast agent based on microbubbles, reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to research and development.
Strategically located next to Bracco’s historical 1996 plant, Hexagon is a four-story multifunctional building, characterized by contemporary design and constructed according to the most rigorous sustainability standards.
Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound (CEUS) is a high sensitivity, non-invasive, radiation-free diagnostic imaging modality that provides physicians worldwide with more accurate diagnostic data, improving patient outcomes and facilitating personalized treatment plans. Beyond diagnostics, microbubble technology also paves the way for precision medicine, offering potential applications in targeted therapies and theranostics.
