Diagnostic challenges of benign/incidental lesions at Liver MRI and CEUS

Webinar 3

MRI of the Liver

Focal hepatic lesions are frequently discovered incidentally on cross-sectional imaging and are relatively common in the general population.

Although contrast-enhanced MRI plays a role in characterizing the incidental lesions, we do not forget that CEUS provides a big contribution in this area.

In this Webinar our liver MRI experts will also be joined by a liver CEUS Expert.

The role of ultrasound contrast agent in assessing incidental lesions will be investigated in oncology and non-oncology patients. MRI Experts will address when it is suggested the use of hepatobiliary GBCAs and when extracellular GBCAs could be enough.

A special focus will be made on major diagnostic pitfalls when dealing with benign hepatocellular and non-hepatocellular lesions.
